Tomorrow's Nurses

Do you want to make a difference in the lives of those in need of medical care? Have you ever admired a nurse or wondered what it would be like to choose nursing as a profession? If you have asked yourself these or similar questions, perhaps nursing is a potential career for you.

Ann Cella, RN, our Chief Nursing Officer and Director of Tomorrow’s Nurses at St. Francis Hospital, invites you to shadow a registered nurse for a day or even just a half day to experience first-hand the rewards and challenges of nursing in a hospital that has earned a reputation for high-quality, compassionate care.

The Tomorrow's Nurses program goals are as follows:

  • To provide a nurse mentor who will share with you their daily work experiences.
  • To provide you with information and career counseling about various nursing programs.
  • To give you the opportunity to attend educational sessions for nurses.
  • To invite you to join our Future of Nurses Committee.

We invite you to consider joining Tomorrow’s Nurses at St. Francis Hospital. For more information, please call 516-562-6893.
