Nutrition for Teens
Weight problems? Poor self-esteem? Not sure what to eat and how to begin your healthy journey? Come join us for a six-week weight loss program with a registered dietician. Includes:
• 45-minute nutrition assessment with goal setting and BMI evaluation
• Calculation of age specific nutritional needs, healthy lifestyle, and eating plan
• Five interactive classes:
o Healthy meals for healthy growing (what to eat and what to avoid)
o Food groups and portion control
o Healthy breakfast, lunch, and dinner at school and home
o Exercise recommendations; becoming more physically active
o Smart snacking
Follow-up session with a registered dietician and an exit interview included.
