Yoga for Weight Management

The yoga approach to cultivating a life of mindfulness uses gentle physical
movements, breathing techniques, relaxation, and meditation. All of these will help cultivate awareness in our everyday lives – how we move, communicate, listen, see and eat. In these classes, particular attention will be paid to cultivating mindful eating for weight management.
Beginner and experienced students are welcome. Please bring your own mat, firm blanket, or towel to class. Please check with your primary care physician to make sure that he or she is comfortable with your participation in class.

Schedule: Saturdays, September 14, 21, 28; October 5, 19, 26; November 2, 9, 16, 23

Time: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Fee: $75 for the workshop; pre-registration is required
